Gluten Free Apple Herb Turkey Meatballs
I love these gluten free apple herb turkey meatballs as a healthy meatball alternative. They are great to eat plain, with a side dish, added to salads, or tossed in soup. They are savory and delicious but won’t set you back!
Ingredients:
8 oz ground lean turkey
1/2 apple, chopped
1 tbsp almond flour
1/2 tbsp rosemary, chopped
1/2 tbsp thyme, chopped
1 egg
1 tbsp coconut oil
Directions: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. In a mixing bowl mix together turkey, apple, almond flour, rosemary, thyme and egg. Melt 1 tbsp in a skillet on the stove. Roll up meatballs and place on skillet. Brown each side of meatball then place into the oven for 10-13 minutes. Garnish plate with extra herbs and serve!
